St. Columba's Hospice, Edinburgh
Photos of the event we held at St Philip's Church, Joppa, Edinburgh on 6th October.
We sang the songs of the Sound of Music, the story of which was narrated in a somewhat original fashion by our hosts, Andrew Booth and his sister (really) Sarah Wilkins and we had a live band to sing to. There was a costume competition, a quiz, face-painting and photo opportunities. A very successful evening.

About St Columba's Hospice
Patient services:
"The role of the Hospice in modern times is to remind us that any act of caring enriches the life of the person giving and the life of the person receiving - a basic truth that is all too often overlooked in our materialistic world." - (A Patient 1991)
Origins
St Columba's Hospice, Edinburgh, opened in 1977 as a 15-bed unit in Challenger Lodge, an original Georgian building overlooking the Firth of Forth.
It has developed and expanded since then to provide a modern, comprehensive range of care services within its much-extended buildings and in the wider community.
