There was a buzz of excitement at the Hospice of St Francis when it got the royal seal of approval from His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent on Friday (November, 9).

Welcome to the Hospice of St Francis based in Berkhamsted providing palliative care to people with life limiting illnesses in North West Hertfordshire and the Chiltern area of Buckinghamshire
Care at Home, Day Hospice and the inpatient unit.
St. Francis Hospice specialist team of health care professionals provides a range of services tailored to meet the individual needs of patients and their families. Also professional education is delivered.
Our Hospice Shop in Berkhamsted - one of more fundraising facilities
Sisters of St. Francis are recalled to their Mother house.
St Francis House became available for purchase. £100,000 needed to buy and modify the Convent. 1st September 1982 - Purchase of St. Francis House completed and rebuild undertaken.
