World Day 2006: Brazil - Santa Casa de Londrina
World Day event in Brazil, Santa Casa de Londrina, a Philanthropic Catholic Hospital in October 5th 2006. There were about 77 assistants from many services of the city. Last year we had about 15.

UNIMED in Brasil is a Medical Work Cooperative. In Londrina, it has its own Home Care Service, but there is no formal Palliative Care team. Here in Brasil is more common refering to Home Care as Domiciliary Assistance.
